Statement Issued by the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza
The National Committee for the Administration of Gaza welcomes the progress announced yesterday regarding the roadmap and the opening of a pathway toward its implementation.
This development marks a significant milestone for our people in the Gaza Strip. After years of conflict, destruction, and uncertainty, the priority today is to translate this progress into practical steps that tangibly impact citizens’ daily lives.
The National Committee for the Administration of Gaza affirms its full readiness to assume its responsibilities. Over the past months, it has completed extensive institutional and operational preparations to take over the administration of the Strip, restore essential public services, strengthen the rule of law, facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid, and lead recovery and reconstruction efforts.
In alignment with President Trump’s comprehensive plan for Gaza and UN Security Council Resolution 2803, the Committee’s mission is to serve our people in the Gaza Strip through a Palestinian administration characterized by efficiency, transparency, and accountability, guided by the principles of a single authority, a single law, and a unified security system.
As implementation progresses, the Committee will focus on restoring the functionality of public administration institutions, reinstating essential services, improving humanitarian conditions, enhancing public security, laying the necessary foundations for recovery and reconstruction, and fostering an environment that supports development and creates economic opportunities.
The Committee believes that the success of this phase depends, first and foremost, on a Palestinian national partnership and the complementary roles of national institutions, local bodies, the private sector, and civil society organizations, all of which serve as the fundamental pillars for the administration and recovery of Gaza. Accordingly, the Committee will work in full coordination with the Peace Council, the Office of the High Representative, the International Stabilization Force, and its regional and international partners to create the necessary conditions for fulfilling its mandate and commencing the efficient, large-scale delivery of services.
The task ahead is immense; the reconstruction of Gaza requires sustained international commitment, substantial financial resources, and close cooperation among all partners. The Committee is prepared for this responsibility and will discharge it with seriousness, speed, discipline, transparency, and accountability.
Our goal extends beyond merely rebuilding what the war destroyed; it encompasses contributing to the creation of a secure, stable, and prosperous Gaza—governed by legitimate Palestinian institutions and grounded in the rule of law—thereby upholding the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and statehood.
The people of Gaza have waited too long. The National Committee for the Administration of Gaza stands ready to assume its responsibilities and to collaborate with all partners to serve our people, achieve recovery and reconstruction, and build a better future for the Gaza Strip.
