Statement
The General Union of Palestinian Journalists in the uk expresses its full support for the June 26th movement and affirms its solidarity with our people in the Gaza Strip in their legitimate demands for a dignified life, their rejection of injustice and tyranny, and their defense of rights and public freedoms.
We stand shoulder to shoulder with our people in the Gaza Strip in their pursuit of a life of dignity and security, one that guarantees respect for their human rights and preserves their dignity.
We also call upon the security authorities and agencies in the Gaza Strip to uphold their legal and moral responsibilities, ensure the safety of the demonstrators, protect their right to peacefully express their opinions and demands, and refrain from any actions that could endanger them or restrict their legitimate freedoms.
