Serious accusations have been leveled against Hamas officials in Gaza regarding the fate of $4 million in donations, with charges directed at Gaza Health Director General Munir al-Barsh and Khaled Safi.
Gaza – Accusations have intensified against Munir al-Barsh, Director General of Health in the Hamas government, and Khaled Safi, following allegations that approximately $4 million was collected through the “Hand in Help” campaign in northern Gaza, without any explanation of how the funds were spent.
Accordings suggest suspicions of mismanagement or a lack of transparency in handling the donations, sparking a wave of questions and anger among observers, especially given the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
Activists and observers are demanding an urgent and transparent investigation to uncover how the funds were spent and to determine whether they were indeed used for the humanitarian purposes for which they were collected.
So far, no clear official response has been issued by the aforementioned parties regarding these accusations, nor has any oversight body announced the commencement of an official investigation.
