Low Turnout at Mourning Ceremony for Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in Gaza Camp

A mourning ceremony was held for the late Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, in the Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City, opposite the home of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was assassinated in Tehran.
The ceremony saw a limited turnout of mourners, according to witnesses present. Some critics believe the low attendance reflects resentment towards Qatari policies and its destructive role in the Palestinian cause.
