A broad Palestinian alliance, including Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Mohammed Dahlan is forming to contest the legislative elections against Fatah.
Sources told Al-Araby TV that several Palestinian factions and forces have agreed to form a political alliance to contest the legislative elections scheduled for November 28.
According to the sources, the alliance includes Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the reformist wing of Fatah led by Mohammed Dahlan, the Nasser al-Qudwa faction, and the Nasser Brigades.
The sources indicated that Islamic Jihad has decided to participate in the elections, a move described as unprecedented. Meanwhile, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) is continuing its internal consultations regarding joining the alliance and is expected to announce its position next week.
